What will volunteers at QFX East do? The QFX volunteer team will work all over the show to help support staff, exhibitors, guests, artists and, most importantly, our attendees. As a volunteer, you may be doing anything from helping out at the main stage panel, watching and managing our lines or simply putting on a smile and greeting everyone in the morning queues as they await the opening of QFX each day.

Do I have to have previous convention or event experience? We are welcoming of all volunteers, regardless of your prior experience. We do ask that when applying to fill out and disclose any relevant volunteer experience that you may have to ensure you are properly placed.

How old do I have to be? All of our volunteers must be age 16 and above. For those under the age of 18, we will require a parent or guardian to give written consent for you to volunteer.

Will I still have time to see things? Absolutely! We offer flexible schedules meaning you don’t have to miss your favorite events and will have plenty of time to enjoy the convention.

Can I cosplay while volunteering? We like to have fun. As long as you are able to incorporate your volunteer shirt into your cosplay, the answer is yes, please!

What's in it for me? All accepted members of our QFX volunteer team that work a cumulative total of ten hours will receive complimentary admission to QFX East, a t-shirt to let everyone know that you're one of our awesome volunteers and, most importantly, the enjoyment that comes with being a huge part of something special and playing a big part in everyone’s great time!
